I am a sculptor focused on the human form, working primarily in water-based clay. Through my work, I explore the nuance of anatomy, symmetry, posture, and expression—seeking to capture the beauty, strength, and vulnerability inherent in the figure.

 

From my studio, JCLee Studios in Auburn, California, I create and teach. I offer workshops and classes for artists of all levels, from beginners taking their first steps in clay to experienced sculptors refining their craft. Teaching is an extension of my own practice—it allows me to share what I love, foster artistic growth, and build a community centered around the timeless study of the human form.
